Different Designs For Different Regions!
The 1983 Famicom design couldn't have been more different than the 1985 NES design. Same console, completely different design for a different retail region. When Japan redesigned the NES for the States, they wanted it to function and look like a VCR, because of the massive popularity of the video cassette recorder, here.

The Atari XEGS!
So, get this... Atari dove into the personal home computer scene in the early 80s with the Atari 400. Mostly used for computer programs, they released a few video games on it since that was for what they were mainly known. In a twist of irony, some people only wanted to play those video games for the 400 so they created a separate home console to just play those games. This is called the Atari XEGS.

End Of An Era!
This weekend will be the last time this bumper pool table will be here. We've been together since the beginning (8 years), but it's time to bring in something new... a brand new bumper pool table! That being said, anyone want to buy it? Let me know...

The Overseas Differences!
It's amazing how 90's Japanese design used to be so different than 90's American design. Same console... different market. One is curvy, almost Wonder Bread bag looking... the other is sharp, edgy with strong purple accents.

That Ol' Atari Claw!
Here at Prodigy, we care... about your hands. "Atari Claw" (or also known as 'joystick thumb' if you use your thumb on the joystick) is a real thing, as the Atari 2600 joystick causes massive fatigue in the hand and wrists after inexperienced prolonged use. Our solution is to offer a Nintendo NES style controller to use, with a smooth D pad. Of course, you can also use a Sega Genesis controller, but we like this Atari branded one. Who else does this?

Nothing Like It!
There's nothing like Prodigy.

Atari Started It All!
This is evidence of what almost 50 years of home controller technology has brought us. Just always remember what Atari started, we've just refined what they created.
