This was the first time the Konami code was revealed in a publication and they mention it working on Life Force for the NES. Then... that it can be used on other Konami games. This issue was Nintendo Power Jan/Feb 1989.
The code can be used on many Konami games like Contra, Gradius (first use of the code), DDR, TMNT, Gyruss, Metal Gear just to mention a few. Come down and read more info like this from our Nintendo Power collection! #tbt
