The Beautiful USA!

Last night, a wonderful retired couple from Mississippi came in. They had me guess where they were from referencing their thick accents. I was a few states off, but when they revealed, I immediately cringely spelled it out to them. 🫣 Now that they just retired, they are visiting all 50 states by the end of the year... with no plan. That is, waking up that morning and just traveling.

Before Prodigy, they stopped at the witch trials location in Salem, MA and also Paul Revere's house. I told them about the 38 states I've been to and asked where their favorite place has been so far since they are about half way done. They said Crater Lake in Oregon. They inspired me to keep exploring this country. Maybe I'll collect all 50 eventually, too.

I'm thinking of finally hanging a US map on the wall here with location pins for these far away visitors. Always keep adventuring, everyone!
